What Are You Waiting For?

 

What does He have to do to get our attention? He has allowed our economy to spiral downward, He's allowed the tragedy of the Gulf oil spill to go on unchecked, people are trying to take His name out of the public view. Our children are being raised without any knowledge of the Creator, let alone the Savior of the world.

^"The Pharisees came and began to question Jesus. To test him, they asked him for a sign from heaven. He sighed deeply and said, "Why does this generation ask for a miraculous sign? I tell you the truth, no sign will be given to it." Then he left them, got back into the boat and crossed to the other side." (Mark 8:11-13)

Today the signs are all around us; yet we ignore them and go on about our business, moaning and groaning about what a rotten hand we've been dealt. Isn't it time for us to once again acknowledge God and turn to Him for the answers that continue to drive us to despair?
